We decided to do the pockets back to back with the boys on one side and the girls on the other. I intend to hang the pockets on a portable hanger so I can move it out and in each day. (Some of you would have seen what we used last year). It was quite funny to hear Peta saying "I don't think my machine has ever gone so slow". But slow and steady wins the race and look at the pockets! Great team work. Peta pins and lines up and just tells me where to sew. Just like a personalised tutorial only better.
We also made Name tags. Not that I'll need them as I know all the children in my class. But a supply teacher and of course Peta's replacement will need them. I'm very happy with my peg labels too. Thanks to Peta for letting me use her cropadile and eyelet gadgets so the laminate won't tear.
Thanks Again, Peta! Your an awesome friend!
Your pockets turned out lovely! Well done! I love the name tags too, they look great! I am still trying to figure out Monday. Would you be interested if Julieanne says it's OK. Bernadette has a key for the room, so now it's just down to the asp work being finished...
ReplyDeleteI am glad you loved the personalised tutorial and isn't it easier when you have all the tools and equipment to get the job done. Feel free to arrange another visit if you need anything.
ReplyDeleteOh! I forgot to mention that I think they actually look better in real life than the photo....but shows off our handiwork.
